Everyone who I met at Dr Curls office was friendly, patient and kind. Dr. Curl welcomes all questions and gives unhurried thoughtful explanations. Love this place! I left with a smile on my face and that’s after learning I had to have two root canals! Lol.

Our dentist, Dr. Curl, takes into account the budget, goals, and the patient's current state of oral health when replacing missing teeth with a custom restoration. While patients suffering from widespread tooth loss may be better served by a denture, dental bridges can effectively replace one to a few adjacent missing teeth. To provide the best care to our patients, we offer two types of dental bridges.
Implant-Supported Bridge
A dental bridge mounted on dental implants offers a number of advantages over traditional dental bridges. When you lose a tooth, the bone tissue in your jaw begins to deteriorate. Dental implants are the only treatment that stops jawbone atrophy following tooth loss. This is because a dental implant acts as an artificial tooth root.
An implant-supported dental bridge is secured via a metal abutment and provides unmatched stability. An implant-supported bridge will look, feel, and function just like natural teeth. Dr. Curl is an expert at placing implants and can perform every step of treatment from the convenience of our The Woodlands dental office.
Traditional Bridge
A dental bridge is an artificial tooth (or set of artificial teeth) known as a pontic that can be used to fill the gap left by one or more adjacent missing teeth. For a traditional dental bridge, the pontic is supported by the teeth on either end of the gap in a patient's smile. These teeth are reshaped to function as abutments in order to secure the bridge. Once Dr. Curl is satisfied with the fit, appearance, and function of a patient's dental bridge, it is attached to the abutment teeth using dental crowns and dental cement.
