How can patients benefit from this approach to full mouth rehabilitation?

Before and after a full mouth reconstruction

Restore the Health of Your Smile  with a Full Mouth Reconstruction

If you don't like your smile and want a new radiant smile that you deserve, a full mouth reconstruction will completely rebuild the foundation of your smile. This treatment is tailored entirely to your needs. Dr. Kenneth Curl will combine any number of restorative procedures to address your concerns, including dental implants and restorations, periodontal care, and root canal therapy. For your convenience, we will perform most treatments at our office in The Woodlands, TX. Schedule an initial consultation and evaluation today by calling our office at (281) 367-6777.

Common Rehabilitation Procedures Included

A full mouth reconstruction combines two or more restorative procedures to help you achieve optimal oral health. During your initial consultation at our office, Dr. Curl will evaluate your bite, jawbone, teeth, and gums and recommend the most appropriate treatments for your full mouth rehabilitation.

Dental Implants

If you are missing teeth, implant-supported restorations will restore the form and function of your smile. Dental implants are embedded in the jawbone and provide a sturdy foundation for prosthetics. In addition, these posts will stimulate the jawbone, which helps to prevent further bone loss and changes to your face shape.

If you have been told by another dentist that you cannot receive implants because of jawbone degeneration, Dr. Curl will evaluate your candidacy to perform a bone graft or sinus lift to restore your candidacy for dental implants to complete a full mouth rehabilitation.

Dental Implants

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns will fully restore a broken, damaged, or decayed tooth. A crown can also strengthen an endodontically treated tooth after root canal therapy. Dr. Curl offers lab-fabricated and same-day crowns using CEREC® technology for qualifying patients. Crowns are made using advanced materials and a careful technique that make them an incredibly lifelike and highly durable treatment option. For patients with a single missing tooth, an implant-supported crown will help restore form and function to your smile as well as prevent long-term issues stemming from missing teeth.

For less invasive coverage of cosmetic concerns, Dr. Curl also offers LUMINEERS®. These minimal-prep porcelain veneers are a popular addition to full mouth reconstructive treatment because they do not require extensive alteration of your enamel or tooth structure and can help you achieve transformative results. Dr. Curl will spend time during your consultation to determine whether this cosmetic option is appropriate for you.

Dental Crowns

Dentures & Partials

If you are missing most or all of your teeth, you may qualify for dentures. Traditional dentures are held in place with suction and adhesion, and implant-supported restorations are affixed to implant posts. In addition to enhancing the aesthetics of your smile, dentures will renew your ability to eat comfortably and enunciate clearly.

Dr. Curl will work with you to design a full mouth reconstruction that accommodates your oral health.

Upon entering the dental office I was somewhat anxious about what to expect - my uneasiness was put to rest within a few minutes of interacting with the dental staff. They were very cordial and showed genuine concern as they listened to my questions and immediately gave me thorough answers. Dr. Kenneth H. Curl, DDS displayed such an air of confidence & expertise in explaining my dental needs that I knew I had come to the right place. End results are I have a full set of dentures that are so comfortable that I don't realize I'm wearing dentures and they look so good no one can tell I'm wearing them --- THANKS, Dr. Curl Ted H.

A dental bridge can replace one to multiple missing teeth in an area. A traditional restoration is secured to adjacent healthy teeth, and an implant-supported bridge is attached to dental implants.

Gum Disease Treatment

According to the Centers fro Disease Control and Prevention, periodontal disease affects more than half of American adults. This condition can result in widespread tooth loss as well as bone atrophy, and it has been linked to serious health concerns such as heart disease. At our office, we use dental lasers to remove harmful bacteria and compromised tissue. Laser therapy is precise and effective, and it can target infected tissue without impacting the surrounding area.

White Composite Fillings

A filling will restore and protect your tooth if you have mild to moderate decay. Unlike amalgam fillings which are highly visible, composite resin restorations are color-matched to blend with your teeth.

The Importance of Treatment

Repairing your smile will improve not only your oral health but your overall health and quality of life. A dental infection can spread systemically. In addition, tooth loss can make it difficult to eat, speak and smile with confidence. A full mouth reconstruction will renew your dental function and preserve your long-term well-being.
