Porcelain veneers

Porcelain Veneers

Stained, uneven, or misshapen teeth can make you feel self-conscious, preventing you from having the beautiful smile you've always wanted.

Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin shells that cover the front surfaces of your teeth, transforming your smile in just two appointments.

Find out why veneers are one of the most popular cosmetic treatments at Advanced Premier Dental and Implant Dentistry in The Woodlands, TX.

Even a Single Veneer  Offers Transformative Results

State-of-the-Art Materials

Our veneers are made from medical-grade dental porcelain. This tooth-colored material closely mimics the shine, texture, and reflective qualities of enamel and is one of the most natural-looking ways to enhance your smile.

Covers Various Issues

In contrast to other cosmetic treatments, veneers can cover virtually all cosmetic concerns at once. This makes them a great option for patients who have a combination of chipped, cracked, misaligned, and discolored teeth

Long-Lasting and Durable

Thanks to advancements in technology and fabrication techniques, modern veneers are longer-lasting than ever before. In some cases, they can last up to a decade or more with proper care.

Porcelain Is a Truly Elite Dental Material

Our dental veneers are always made of high-quality porcelain. Some dentists offer composite resin veneers as a more affordable alternative. However, we only offer porcelain veneers for a variety of important factors.

Porcelain veneers are more durable, less likely to stain, and easier to make look like natural teeth than composite veneers. Composite resin veneers typically last just 5–7 years, approximately half as long as porcelain veneers.

Take a look at how porcelain veneers are placed...

After removing a very small amount of enamel from the front surfaces of the teeth, our dentist can precisely place veneers to enhance the color and form of your smile.

I chipped a tooth for the first time in my life and was extremely worried and had no idea what to do! I called my primary dentist and they seemed to have no concern and said the soonest they could get me in was a week from now… So the google search began and I started calling around to find someone to get me in the same day. Dr. Curl’s office manager was extremely kind over the phone and was quick to get me in asap. I came in and the staff was all very kind, they got me taken care of in a timely manner... I appreciate everything and I will for sure be switching to Dr. Curl as my primary dentist!!!

How do you know if you are a good candidate for veneers?

Factors to Consider Before Choosing Veneers

To determine whether veneers are the right cosmetic dentistry treatment for you, Dr. Kenneth Curl will conduct a thorough examination of your smile. In general, candidates for veneers should:

Be In Good Oral Health

Before undergoing any cosmetic dentistry procedure at our practice, you should be in good oral health and free of tooth decay, gum disease, or infection. These issues can be treated in-office prior to your veneers appointment

Have Healthy Enamel

In order to receive veneers, you should have a healthy amount of enamel. If you have thinning enamel, you may still qualify for LUMINEERS®, a less invasive option.

Be Ready for a Permanent Change

Veneers are durable but will need to be replaced over time. If you are not ready to commit to a permanent investment in your smile, you may benefit from other more temporary cosmetic options, such as bonding or teeth whitening

Wondering if the process will be painful?

Most Patients Only Require Local Anesthetic  but We Also Offer Sedation

Dr. Curl wants to help you achieve the smile you've always wanted, even if you are afraid of the dentist. He offers various types of sedation, including:

  • Intravenous (IV) Sedation
  • Oral Sedation

These options will help you feel comfortable and relaxed during treatment. Additionally, dental veneers are a non-surgical treatment option, so the placement process and recovery are fairly simple and quick.

There Is No Painful Recovery When You Receive Dental Veneers

/

Many patients put off potentially life-changing treatment because they worry about a difficult extended recovery. When it comes to dental veneers, you can resume your regular life immediately after any sedation wears off. Some patients experience sensitivity to food or drinks that are too hot or cold, but these effects are mild and temporary.

I moved to town recently and hadn’t found a dentist yet. I had a veneer pop off one of my FRONT TEETH hours before departing for vacation. In my book, that’s an emergency! Dr. Curl’s office staff was kind enough to not only calm me down, but got me in right away. He did an incredible job and was just the sort of perfectionist I needed. I’m thrilled to have found him and happy to recommend him and his staff!
